Reload Bonus Explained: How Top-Up Offers Work
Key Points

- Always check match percentage, cap, wagering and game limits.
- A bonus can restrict withdrawals until requirements are met.

- Checked 5 Nov 2026
- Bet with limits
If a welcome bonus is the opening over, a reload bonus is the middle-order top-up. It rewards you for depositing again after your first deposit. Operators use it to keep existing players engaged, and players like it because it seems to add free value. The reality depends entirely on the terms. At the time of checking (5 November 2026), the promotions banners we saw on L89 were Welcome, First Deposit and Rebate, so we cannot confirm a reload offer there. This article explains the general mechanics.
How a reload bonus works
You make a deposit, claim the offer and the operator credits a bonus based on a percentage of your deposit, up to a cap. The bonus usually sits in a separate balance with wagering requirements. Some reload offers run on specific days or for specific games, and some need a code or an opt-in step.
Because rules differ widely, the headline figure tells you very little. A smaller offer with light requirements can be better than a bigger one with heavy conditions.
- Percentage match up to a cap
- Often tied to a day, a game type or an opt-in
- Usually carries wagering requirements
A worked example in Taka
Suppose a hypothetical reload offer gives a 50% match up to 1,000 Taka with a 10x wagering requirement on the bonus. You deposit 1,000, receive a 500 bonus and must wager 5,000 on eligible games before withdrawing bonus-linked winnings. This is an illustration with invented numbers, not an L89 offer.
The table shows how the same deposit changes with the match percentage. Use it to build intuition, then check the real terms in the promotions page.
| Deposit (Taka) | Match | Bonus (Taka) | Wagering on bonus at 10x |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | 25% | 250 | 2,500 |
| 1,000 | 50% | 500 | 5,000 |
| 1,000 | 100% | 1,000 | 10,000 |
Terms to read before you accept
Look for the maximum bonus, the wagering multiple, the games that count, the time limit and the maximum bet while the bonus is active. Check whether the wagering applies to the bonus only or to deposit plus bonus, since that changes the effort required. Our wagering requirements guide walks through the sums, and the deposit bonus page shows a percentage example in full.
If you cannot find the terms before depositing, skip the offer. A missing rule is a bigger risk than a missing bonus.
Keep screenshots of the offer page when you claim it, since terms can change and a record helps if you need to ask support a question later.
Reload bonus versus rebate
A reload bonus adds money at the point of deposit. A rebate returns a share of play afterwards. The two have different feels and different terms, so compare them on the rebate page before choosing.
- Pro: extra funds to play with
- Pro: can suit regular depositors
- Con: wagering can lock funds
- Con: bonus rules may limit game choices
When a reload bonus makes sense
A reload offer can suit a player who already deposits regularly and plays enough to clear the wagering naturally. It suits less well if you only play occasionally, because the requirement may take longer than the offer window. Ask yourself how many hours of play the turnover implies and whether that fits a normal week for you.
It also helps to compare the effective cost. If the terms limit you to games that you do not enjoy, or cap the bet at a level that feels too small, the bonus may spoil the session rather than improve it. Plenty of experienced players simply decline offers that do not fit their routine, and that is a perfectly good call.
Finally, keep reload offers separate from your weekly budget. The bonus is a feature of the deposit, not a reason to deposit more than you planned.
Three moves
Evaluate a reload offer in 3 steps
- 1Find the terms
Open the promotions page on the official L89 site and read the full conditions.
- 2Do the maths
Multiply the bonus by the wagering multiple and ask whether that is realistic for your budget.
- 3Decide or skip
Accept only if the effort fits your plan. Skipping is always allowed.
